Howdy!

Graze specializes in freezer meals, single-serve meals, treats & fresh pork and beef.

My name is Kasey and I love cooking for people. If one of the four love languages were cooking, that would be mine!

My Grandmother's love for cooking wore off on me at a young age. I would help her cater events, that's where I learned hard work and how to count back change.

I always remember her telling me "never trust a skinny cook!" My Husband and I live on a Third-generation crop and black angus farm with our two children. We also have chickens and pigs. My love for animals started as a young child and I am so blessed I am able to raise happy cattle, pigs and chickens. Oh, and kids. Can't forget them!

I am hoping from these services, that I can help people and families take some things off their plates, quite literally, by doing what I love! I can't wait to see where this journey takes me! I hope to Graze with you soon! 💚

Happy Cows

Graze: verb

• (of cattle, sheep, etc.) eat grass in a field.

While trying to come up with a name for Graze, our VERY Spoiled Black Angus cattle kept popping up in my head.

Our cattle mean the world to us and they keep our family together. In the early months of spring it is calving season, my favorite! Our momma cows are in a new barn, where there are cameras installed to monitor them around the clock. This creates lots of sleepless nights patiently awaiting the new calves. As soon as a calf is born (all hours of the night and day) we head over to the hoop building and bring the baby and cow in the nursery barn, where they will stay for about a week until we know they are thriving and then they will go back out to the main hoop building. These couple of months are very long and difficult, but so very worth it! During this time the moms get fed a special silage ration, high quality hay and vitamins/ minerals to help stay healthy during pregnancy and nursing.

In the summer the cows all get kicked out to the pasture where they GRAZE, cool off in the creek, lay under the shades and the calves have milk faces from nursing (picture below)! This is also the season we make our hay for them.

During the fall we wean the calves from the cows and make silage for them out of our corn. Also, during the fall is when the vet and hoof trimmers come to make sure all of our cattle are staying healthy. Each cow, calf and our bulls get individually looked over and lots of bookkeeping is done at this time.

The list could go on and on about everything we do for our cattle and what they ultimately do for us, but I tried to keep it short and sweet.

GRAZE kept extra cattle back this year to have fresh meat for sale comming fall 2025 that we will have for sale at our new STORE FRONT coming Fall/Winter 2025! 💚
